Formed in October of 2017, the Rice Lake Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary came together as a way for friends and family of fire department members to get to know one another and offer support to the fire department.  Over the years we have learned a lot and fine-tuned our mission to reflect what our goal as an organization is.

 

The Auxiliary exists to support and assist the economic, social, and physical well-being of fire department personnel, their families and members of the auxiliary along with building camaraderie by cultivating friendliness and neighborliness in the Rice Lake community.  To achieve this goal we are involved in the following activities:

• Fundraising efforts throughout the year

• Hosting fire department gatherings

• Supporting wellness programs for the fire department.  (Fun Fact: The Rice Lake Fire Department Auxiliary was able to provide the men and women on the Rice Lake Volunteer Fire Department an Employee Assistance Program - a first for any volunteer fire department in the state of Minnesota)

• Supporting fire department members and their families in times of need or crisis
